A-WEB Completes Election Observation Mission for the 2025 Moldovan Parliamentary Elections

The A-WEB Secretariat is pleased to announce the completion of the A-WEB Election Observation Mission Report for the 2025 Parliamentary Elections of the Republic of Moldova, held on 28 September 2025.

The Mission, conducted at the invitation of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Moldova, brought together election officials from A-WEB member institutions across multiple regions. Observers assessed a wide range of electoral procedures, including polling, counting, accessibility measures, voter information practices, and the implementation of recent legal and procedural changes.

The final report reflects the Mission’s findings and provides practical recommendations aimed at strengthening electoral administration, enhancing accessibility for voters, and supporting continuous improvement efforts by the CEC of Moldova. The document also highlights good practices observed during the process, including professionalism of polling staff, transparent procedures, and effective communication with stakeholders.

A-WEB extends its sincere appreciation to the CEC of Moldova for its cooperation and facilitation of the Mission, and to all participating member EMBs for their dedication and contributions.
