A WEB

The Second meeting of the A-WEB Special Committee on Charter Amendments was convened in Sofia, Bulgaria on 20th February 2019. During this Special Committee meeting, Mr. David Matumika Banda from Malawi Electoral Commission was present and led the meeting as the Chairperson of the Committee. Committee members from the Dominican Republic, Taiwan and Bulgaria were present at the meeting, where delegations from India and South Korea as well as a senior advisor of A-WEB actively participated in the discussions.
The final proposal of the Charter Amendments will be reported to the 4th General Assembly scheduled to be held in September and approved by the members of the A-WEB.

Each Article of the final draft was put on the table at the 7th Executive Board meeting where some articles or clauses were approved, and others got rejected.
