The Fund Donation Ceremony in Taiwan A donation ceremony organized by the Central Election Commission of Taiwan (hereinafter referred to as “CEC Taiwan”) was held in Taipei City, Taiwan, on January 13, 2020. The CEC Taiwan has made a voluntary contribution of USD 250,000 to the Association of World Election Bodies. (here in after referred to as “A-WEB”) 
On behalf of A-WEB, the Secretary-General, Mr. Choe Jonghyun and Mr. LEE Chin Yung, Chairperson of CEC Taiwan attended the ceremony which was held in the chancery of CEC Taiwan. Both sides noted with satisfaction the cooperation between the CEC Taiwan and A-WEB made since the foundation of A-WEB. Mr. Choe thanked the CEC Taiwan deeply for the second contribution after its first contribution in 2014 and told that the fund would be put to good use for the further deepening of cooperation between CEC Taiwan and A-WEB.
