The Webinar titled "Election Management during COVID-19: Valuable Lessons Learned and Future Outlook", co-hosted by the A-WEB Secretariat, the National Election Commission of the Republic of Korea and the Fijian Elections Office which was held on November 23 has ended meaningfully.
In this Webinar, Mr. Paul Rowland, Country Director for Pacific Islands, IFES, Mr. Nye Coffey, Australian Electoral Officer for South Australia, Australian Electoral Commission, Ms. Anaseini Senimoli, Director Operations, Fijian Elections Office (FEO), Mr. Sanjeshwar Ram, Director Corporate Services, FEO, Mr. Mathew Lemisio, Electoral Commissioner, Office of the Electoral Commission of Samoa, Ms. Su-yeon Kim, Professor, Korean Civic Education Institute for Democracy participated as speakers and shared a myriad of viewpoints on challenges of EMBs in Oceania, lessons learned from election management under the pandemic and future outlook for the upcoming elections in the year 2021 and beyond.
