| [A-WEB Community] Signing an MOU with the International Parliamentarians’ Congress |

The A-WEB Secretariat and the International Parliamentarians’ Congress (IPC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in April of 2021, and on 31 May, a bilateral meeting between the two was held.
Established in 2019 and based in Islamabad, Pakistan, IPC is a transcontinental platform comprising Members of Parliaments (MPs). By signing the MOU, the A-WEB Secretariat and IPC will cooperate in the areas of election observation, research, joint seminars, workshops, and cross-promotional activities. On 31 May, two parties had a bilateral meeting online. The meeting was started with opening remarks from both Secretary Generals, Mr. Jonghyun Choe from the A-WEB Secretariat, and Dr. Muhammad Ali Saif from IPC. During the meeting, the two organizations discussed ways to strengthen mutual cooperation in various areas.  |
