Block Vote

The parliament shall be composed of 128 deputies elected by a majority system for a mandate of four years. The voting shall be universal, by secret ballots and in one round. Each voter shall be entitled to vote for a number of candidates that equals the number of seats allocated to every district, based on its confessional distribution.

The European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) was deployed in Lebanon since 11 May 2005, following an agreement between the EU and the government of the Republic of Lebanon.
