 · Voter turnout: 44.59% (2019 parliamentary election)

 · Voting age: 18 

 - Presidential: Elected indirectly by Parliament (2/3 votes) in a two-round system

 - Parliamentary

   1. Single, multi-member electoral district with an open list, proportional representation voting system using the SainteLague method for allocating seats.

   2. Voters may vote for up to five candidates from their selected party list. 

   3. Political entities must receive five percent of the vote to win a seat in the parliament. 

 - Assembly of Kosovo

   1. 20 seats are reserved for national minorities. 

   2. 10 seats are reserved for Kosovo Serbs and 10 for other minorities.

 

 · Voting process 

   1. Verify Identification documents. 

   2. The voter gets his right index finger sprayed, then the voter is provided with a single sealed ballot for elections. 

   3. Mark the ballot in secret. 

   4. Place the ballot in the ballot box.

 

 · Counting process

   1. All materials from each station within a polling center are sent to the municipal election commissions (MECs). 

   2. From the MECs, all polling station materials will be delivered to the central Count and Results Center (CRC), where the results from each polling station are compiled. 

   3. After ballot boxes are delivered to the CRC from each MEC, reconciliation and results from forms from each polling station are tabulated.
