        Unlike traditional election observations, the observation program of the Local Elections of
the Republic of Korea on June 4, 2014 focuses on the exchange of electoral knowledge and
experience. The expectation of this observation, therefore, differs from that outlined in the
'UN Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation and Code of Conduct for
International Election Observers' in various aspects.
