Republic of Uzbekistan

The project to support capacity building for ICT-based election management in the Republic of Uzbekistan was implemented as part of the International Development Program of the Government of the Republic of Korea. This initiative was conducted in partnership with the National Election Commission of the Republic of Korea, the Central Election Commission, and the Ministry of Digital Technology of the Republic of Uzbekistan.The project involved the development of an integrated electoral list system, providing technical support and local training. The system was utilized during the election of District Representatives in Tashkent. As a result, the project enhanced the transparency of electoral management by preventing double voting. It also strengthened citizens' voting rights through the system's implementation.
