The 7th Executive Board Meeting of A-WEB was held in Sofia, Bulgaria on February 21st, 2019. The meeting was co-hosted by A-WEB and the Central Election Commission of Bulgaria.
On behalf of the Chairperson of A-WEB, Mr. Marian Muhulet from the Permanent Electoral Authority of Romania presided over the meeting. The Meeting was also attended by Secretary General Yong-Hi Kim of A-WEB, Mr. Joel Lantigua from the Junta Central Electoral of Dominican Republic, Ms. Ivilina Aleksieva-Robinson from the Central Election Commission of Bulgaria, Mr. David Matumika Banda from the Electoral Commission of Malawi, Ms. Janja Horvat Drobnjak from the State Electoral Commission of Croatia, Mr. Adel Brinsi from the Independent High Authority for Elections of Tunisia, Ms. Ana Guada Lupe Medina from the Supreme Electoral Tribunal of El Salvador, Ms. Maria Elena Wapenka from the Superior Court of Electoral Justice of Paraguay, Mr. K M Nurul Huda from the Election Commission of Bangladesh, Mr. Ashraf Aziz Shuaibi from the Central Election Commission of Palestine, Mr. Mirza-Ulugbek Elchievich Abdusalomov from the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan, Mr. Hui-Feng Hsu from the Central Election Commission of Taiwan, Mr. Dhirendra Ojha from the Election Commission of India. Mr. Terry Tselane, asenior advisor of A-WEB and Mr. Shin Wooyong from the National Election Commission of Republic of Korea also participated in the meeting as observers.
During the Meeting, the Executive Board members discussed and made decisions on important issues regarding the future direction of this Association.

Mr. Yong-Hi Kim announced his resignation from the position of Secretary General of A-WEB and asked the members to take an interest in the election of the next Secretary General.
