A-WEB conducted its 2nd Election Visitor Program in the Kyrgyz Republic from October 1st to October 7th, in conjunction with the Parliamentary Elections held in the Kyrgyz Republic. 38 election experts from 27 countries gathered together to observe and analyze the effectiveness of the election ICT that is newly introduced to the country. The observation was preceded by a central briefing where the participants learned about the mechanisms of Precinct Count Optical Scanner(PCOS) and the particular backgrounds and history of the country's election. Then the program was concluded with productive group discussion sessions and presentations during the central debriefing, where the participants shared their rich expertise and experience in the field of election management.
