The Association of World Election Bodies, A-WEB, had conducted the Election ICT Capacity Building Program for 11 participants from Cambodia and 10 from the League of Arab States from the 22^nd to the 31^st of October.

During the program the participants learned about the Korean election system with a particular focus on the by-elections which took place during the period of the training program. They also had a chance to discuss the best practices in the application of ICT in each stage of election, together seeking ways to enhance their country’s election management through the use of new technologies.

The training curriculum consisted of various additional components such as cultural excursions, field visits to the National Assembly, the National Election Commission, and the Korea Civic Education Institute for Democracy, as well as hands-on experience of the election management system using the latest election ICT in Korea.
