A WEB

The Specialized Training Program on ICT-based Election Management for Engineers in Latin America is hosted from June 28^th to July 10^th at Songdo, Incheon city, Republic of Korea. The program is implemented by the Association of World Elections Bodies (A-WEB) with 11 officials invited from Ecuador and El Salvador. The training program includes special session of A-WEB experienced experts, in-depth learning on information security, knowledge sharing, site visiting and various activities. The site visiting adds excitements and insights to trainees by participating ICT exhibition in KINTEX and Samsung D’light where they can experience Korea’s newest technology.

The program aims to acquire knowledge and know-how regarding ICT in elections by practical lectures and training; to understand recent technologies and systems on the use of ICT in elections; to strengthen the capacity of each election management bodies (EMB) election-ICT experts for sustainable operations of ICT in elections. In addition, since it is A-WEB's first specialized training program on ICT and the training target is the engineers, it is distinguished from the previous training programs.
