Seminar Held for the Improvement of Electoral Legal System of Burkina Faso and Cameroon

Seminar for the improvement of electoral was held this July 24 to August 1 at the A-WEB Secretariat in order to support Burkina Faso and Cameroon. This seminar was jointly organized by A-WEB and the National Election Commission of the Republic of Korea and 5 electoral officials from each country participated in the event. The Seminar covered the reviewing of electoral legal systems of Burkina Faso and Cameroon and derived suggestions for improvement in comparison with the system in Korea. Additionally, the participants were able to observe the re-elections held in Korea on July 30 to experience electoral management of Korea. The seminar served as a great opportunity to strengthen the solidarity between A-WEB, Burkina Faso and Cameroon.
