Parliamentary Election in Cote d’Ivoire The parliamentary election took place in the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire on September 03, 2022.

The parliament consists of two chambers. In the Senate, the Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) defeated the Democratic Party of Ivory Coast – African Democratic Rally (PDCI-RDA) with 71.60% by indirect election method. The voter turnout was 89.05%.
In the
National Assembly, the RHDP received the most votes in the WORODOUGOU, and GBEKE regions.
However, PDCI-RDA won
RHDP with 55.86% in the NAWA. The
voter turnout was 39.14 %.

Voters decided the 349 members of the legislature and the supreme decision-making body, Riksdag. Regional and municipal elections were also held on the same day.
Sweden’s right-wing parties won a remarkable
election victory. The Social Democratic Party had won 107 seats of the 349
seats in parliament. The Sweden Democrats emerged as the second-most popular
party in the country. The voter turnout was 84.21 %.
