On 21 December 2022, the Superior Court of Electoral Justice (TSJE) of Paraguay sent the A-WEB Secretariat an official letter stating they have appointed S.E. Ministro Jorge Enrique Bogarín González as President, S.E. Ministro Emilio Rossel as Vice-president, and S.E Ministro Jaime Bestard Duschek as member of the Court. They will assume their position 1 January 2023 and their term will end on 31 December 2023.
S.E. Ministro Jorge Enrique Bogarín González was previously the Vice-president of TSJE. He is a lawyer specializing in Criminal, Administrative, and Human Rights Law. He has served as a legal adviser to several public and private entities such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Central Bank of Paraguay, Municipality of Asunción, and Ministry of the Interior.
S.E. Ministro Emilio Rossel was previously the member of TSJE. He was appointed to the TSJE in 1996 and has worked in different departments within the institution throughout his career. He has also participated in several International Observation Missions of South America.
S.E Ministro Jaime Bestard Duschek was previously the President of TSJE. He practiced as a lawyer specializing in Civil Law, Administrative Law and Electoral Law from 1984 to July 2013. He joined the TSJE since 2013 as his position as the member of the court.
