The Third EMB Capacity Building Program Held Successfully ?
A-WEB held its third Election Management Body Capacity Building Program from 17th November 2014 to 27th November 2014. 9 electoral officials from 3 different countries (Albania, Kosovo and Palestine) participated in the seminar.
Participants discussed enthusiastically on their own electoral systems and given issues― ▲Issues and Challenges in Each Phase of Electoral Processes ▲Election ICT in Korea ▲Election ICT Policy ▲Political & Economic Development ▲Electoral Integrity, Freedom & Fairness ▲Introduction & Practices of Election ICT ▲ Campaign Finance Regulation ▲News media & Election EMB's Needs for Social Media ▲Investigation on Election Crimes & Fair Election Promotion System and ▲Civic Education: Civic Participation in Electoral Process.
Participants visited NEC and Korea Democracy Foundation, getting a better understanding of election history in Korea. They also had a field trip to Hyundai Steel in Dangjin.
