Electoral ICT Capacity Building Training Program

From 19th of April to 1st of May, A-WEB held Electoral ICT Capacity Building Program in Songdo, Incheon, for 10 days, in which 18 staffs of election commissions from 6 countries (Kenya, Zambia, Dominican Republic, Mongoliathe Dominican Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina) have participated.

 

The staffs from each election commission have participated in the training program to understand each election system and political circumstances, and to diagnose the problems, partnering with A-WEB to seek ways to achieve sustainable electoral ICT in each nation. The training program was conducted in English, consisting of presentations and discussions, lectures, and trips to institutions. Also, the trainees exchanged their opinions on practical ways to apply the methods to their nations.
