Association of World Election Bodies (A-WEB), in cooperation with the National Election Commission of the Republic of Korea (NEC), will organize an election observation Election Knowledge Fair in connection with the Local Election in Korea scheduled to take place in June 4, 2014.

Unlike conventional election observation events that are held in order to protect the integrity of the elections, this event intends to provide a place where election stakeholders can exchange information and good practices.

The event will be held at the G-Tower building in Songdo, Inchoen, ROK from 30 May to June 5, 2014. For details of the events, please refer to the attached schedule. Officials from election managements bodies and international election organization are eligible to attend the event. In line with this purpose, Election Knowledge Fair will take place along with the observation of the Korean electoral process.

We believe this event will become a great opportunity for participants to expand knowledge and keep up with up-to-date electoral products and technology.

The NEC will cover the cost of hotel, meals and in-land transportation in Korea and participants need to pay their round-trip airfare.
