Social Engagements -contributed by the Elections Commission of Maldives- 1 The Commission donated several Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits, masks boxes, sanitizers, and other items to the Ministry of Health, Republic of the Maldives. These items were used in the Local Council and Women's Development Committee Elections conducted in 2021. 2 Laptops, stationaries, and vehicles were provided to Health Emergency Operating Center (HEOC) and Health Protection Agency (HPA) to supplement the limited resources that were available in the country and thereby facilitate the election process. 3 Clothing items were donated to the Maldives Police Service to distribute them to the workers who lost their jobs during the pandemic.
