[Região Autónoma da Madeira com eleições a 24 de setembro] A
Região Autónoma da Madeira terá eleições no dia 24 de setembro e enquanto
entidade que supervisiona todos os atos eleitorais que se realizam em Portugal,
a Comissão Nacional de Eleições (CNE) esteve na região, entre 24 e 28 de julho,
para reunir com as entidades locais. O objetivo desta visita foi assegurar que a preparação das Eleições Regionais decorra da melhor forma e com normalidade. A CNE reuniu com todos os intervenientes do processo eleitoral, desde o Representante da República e o Presidente da Assembleia Legislativa até aos partidos políticos, forças de segurança e órgãos de comunicação social, bem como o Presidente do Governo Regional.
Nesta eleição, as pessoas recenseadas nas ilhas da Madeira e do Porto Santo serão chamadas a escolher a constituição da próxima Assembleia Legislativa. No ato eleitoral podem votar apenas os cidadãos portugueses e cidadãos de nacionalidade brasileira que possuam estatuto de igualdade de direitos políticos recenseados na Região Autónoma da Madeira.
Situada em pleno Atlântico, a Madeira é uma Região Autónoma da República Portuguesa, dotada de Estatuto Político-Administrativo e de órgãos de governo próprio. [Madeira Autonomous Region to hold elections on September 24th] In the Autonomous Region of Madeira, elections will take place on the 24th of September. As the entity that supervises all the electoral acts that take place in Portugal, the National Electoral Commission (NEC/CNE) was in the region, between the 24th and 28th of July, to meet with the local entities.
The purpose of this visit was to ensure that the preparation of the Regional Elections runs smoothly and normally. The CNE met with all those involved in the electoral process, from the Representative of the Republic and the President of the Legislative Assembly to political parties, security forces, and media, as well as the President of the Regional Government.
In this election, people registered on the islands of Madeira and Porto Santo will be asked to choose the constitution of the next Legislative Assembly. In the electoral act, only Portuguese citizens and citizens of Brazilian nationality who had the status of equal political rights registered in the Autonomous Region of Madeira can vote.
Located in the middle of the Atlantic, Madeira is one of the two Autonomous Regions of the Portuguese Republic, endowed with a Political-Administrative Statute and its own governing entities.
