- Last Updated : 2016-10-17
Once electoral register is created by the EMB, Digital voter registration kits/computers, and off-line are used for collecting registration data.
Kenya used Biometric Voter Registration (BVR) during the one Month long registration period (19th November 2012 to 18th December 2012). 15,000 BVR Kits were procured. Each kit was shared between 2-3 registration centres. The voter registration data per kit was saved later uploaded to the central server through the use of USB’s and CD’s.
