 · Voting process

   1. Verify National ID Card -> Receive Ballots -> Mark Ballots -> Cast Ballots

   2. For electronic voting, the officers turn on the device, the elector uses the touch screen to mark preference, a ticket with the results is printed and the voter drops it in the ballot box.

 

 · Counting process 

   1. National Electoral Institute​ (IFE) has implemented and refined a preliminary electoral results program (PREP), which allows electronic transmission from each of the 300 district councils to the national center. 

   2. For normal counting, the president of the polling station opens the ballot boxes two in two.

   3. The counting shall take place simultaneously and once they are counted and recorded in the protocols, the data shall be sent to INE and shall be included in the PREP.
